Product Description
Pred Forte Ophthalmic Suspension is a steroid eye medicine used to reduce redness, swelling, itching, watering, and discomfort caused by inflammation. It may be prescribed for inflammation associated with allergies, infections, eye injuries, or after eye surgery.
It works by reducing the production of chemical messengers responsible for inflammation in the eyes.
Uses
- Treatment of eye redness and swelling
- Relief from itching, watering, and inflammatory eye discomfort
Directions for Use
- Use only in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
- Check that the bottle seal is intact before first use.
- Wash your hands and shake the bottle well before each use.
- Tilt your head backwards and gently pull down the lower eyelid.
- Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it.
- Instil the prescribed number of drops and wipe away any excess liquid.
- Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
- Do not discontinue treatment without consulting your doctor, as the inflammation may return or worsen.
Possible Side Effects
