Sucral MU Ointment contains mupirocin, a topical antibiotic, and sucralfate in a water soluble ointment base. A doctor may prescribe it for a bacterial skin infection in an affected wound or ulcer. Mupirocin acts against susceptible bacteria, while topical sucralfate is used to support healing of damaged skin. Use it only for the condition for which it was prescribed.

How to use
Clean the affected area and gently apply a thin layer as directed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after application unless your hands are the area being treated. Follow the prescribed frequency and duration; do not stop early without medical advice. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and nose.
Possible side effects and precautions
Mild burning, stinging, itching or irritation may occur where the ointment is applied. Stop using it and seek medical advice if irritation is severe or an allergic reaction develops.
